During my days in FIS for these one year and 2 months, I could not recall the numbers of farewell letters I have received from my fellow teachers. None has much impact on me except this one that I received this morning.... :(

I know this day will come, I should be prepared... but it still upsets me... :(

I gave my students a short exercise in Bahasa Melayu. He was supposed to "bina ayat" with some words given by me. One of it is "Mengapakah?".

For English, another small little guy have to make sentences with some words given too.. and one of it is "What?"

So I went out for a while to Joshua's room and when I was back, here are the answers given by them..

BM:
Mengapakah kita perlu minum?
Mengapakah kita perlu belajar?
Mengapakah kita perlu makan?
Mengapakah kita perlu buat ejaan?

English:
What is this?

The "everything" mentioned here does not always come simply by asking, because God is always seeking to teach you the way of faith. Your training for a life of faith requires many areas of learning, including the trial of faith, the discipline of faith, the patience of faith, and the courage of faith. Often you will pass through many stages before you finally realize the result of faith- namely the victory of faith.

Genuine moral fibre is developed by enduring the discipline of faith. When you have made your request to God, and the answer still has not come, what are you to do?

Keep on believing His word! Never be swayed from it by what you may see or feel. Then as you stand firm, your power and your experience is being developed, strenghtened and deepened.
When you remain unswayed from your stance of faith, even in view of supposed contradictions to God's word, you grow stronger on every front.

No amount of persecution will try you as much as experince like these... ones in which you are required to wait on God. Once He has spoken His promise to work, it is truly hard to wait as you see the days go by with no fulfillment. Yet it is this discipline of faith that will bring you into a knowledge of God that would otherwise be impossible.

Cooper in office today, first day at work. =)
Cooper was very curious in office, sniffing and checking out the area. My collegues were very friendly and warm towards him, though he was quite afraid. He kept on jumping on my knees and hide behind my legs. Just now, when I was in the toilet, he kept scratching the door and bark as though I have left him.. :P. However, Cooper can adapt to new environment pretty well, right now he has fallen asleep beside my chair after playing with my collegues. So cute...

Wake up early in the morning, drive to one of the small lane in Burmah Road and among the terrace houses, have a koey teow thng under a tree... Satisfied.

Fried loh bak and ice tea at corner coffee shop at Penang Road for first tea- time.

Lunch has to be at Genting 'kopitiam' in Green Lane, have duck-egg char koey teow together with peanut butter chee cheong fun and cold chrysanthemum. Then go next door for fresh and hot tau fu fah... Satisfied.

Go for hot delicious laksa near my house in Farlim with some fried 'poh piah' or spring roll, for second tea time.

Our (louis and I) favourite spot is Lok Lok at Pulau Tikus market with "chai koey" and "char koey kak".

This is HAPPINESS!!!!! =D =D =D

3 months later, he looked like he grew so much older, like an old man and miserable too. So I booked an appointment with Adrian from Pet Safari for a extreme make over.

And so.. TA DA~ after 2 hours later... I hardly can recognise Cooper,
but can never forget his eyes... He saw louis.

Then he saw me...

Final product...Cooper now looks like a pure innocent lamb...

So we decided to take some pics with the new look in front of Pet Safari...

Surprise..

Yea, it was another pleasant surprise from louis =) . He bought me this book - jamie at home few days ago. And I am so loving it, not just the amazing designs and graphics in it(very particular about this) but the recipes he created and his experiences. Simply wonderful. He has its own orchards, therefore he grew his own fruits, and not forget his GARDEN, full of asparagus, mushrooms, cabbages, beets, carrots and lots more. Very inspriring! Louis said this will be the first book he bought for me for my staircase library. :P
